Our clients value straight-forward solutions and responsive tech support delivered in plain English. SimplePowerIT provides customers with proven solutions that address their needs and minimize complexity. We believe in the power of simplicity and a customer-first approach to service. Work-life balance is baked into our culture; we want employees who are energized by work and but also leaves time for their passions and family outside of the office.

The position: SimplePowerIT is in need of an experienced technology professional to administer Window servers and networks, complete network deployments and migrations, and provide tier 3+ support. This position will also incorporate cybersecurity responsibilities, such as managing clients’ cybersecurity defenses and conducting breach investigations. Example projects include:

This is a great opportunity for a person who is challenged by a wide diversity of responsibilities and is ready to step into small business engineering leadership.

Your background: You have previous experience as a network technician and have a solid grasp of networking, Windows servers, Microsoft 365 and desktop troubleshooting. You care about solving clients’ issues and take satisfaction in doing so. You listen, are empathetic, communicate well, and can implement solutions without much outside direction. You are interested in a position that gives you flexibility and a chance to work independently while building ongoing, trusted relationships with clients.

You have skills and experience that match most of the following:

Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory and RD administration and deployment

Other important qualifications, include:

Familiarity with RMM, PSA, and ticketing tools

Ability to work independently and learn new skills

Reside in current service area (eg North Central Washington)

Benefits and good stuff: We offer competitive pay, holidays and vacation pay, and insurance. You’ll start by working at our convenient office space co-located with one of our clients. We believe in listening to employees and rewarding great work. Have an idea… share it with us and let’s get it implemented together as a team! Less than 40 hour work week is an option (we are flexible)!

Compensation: Competitive, DOE.
