With Snoqualmie Bike Park just 35 minutes away and trails beginning just a few blocks from our shop, we are deeply connected to the local cycling community. Who We're Looking For
We’re searching for a skilled and passionate Bicycle Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely loves working on bikes. You’ll handle everything from routine tune-ups to advanced repairs, including E-bike maintenance and suspension servicing. If you’re detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to help riders get the most out of their bikes, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bicycle repairs in the order received while following shop procedures.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service, explaining repairs and estimates clearly.
- Use proper tools and follow manufacturer torque specifications to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
- Maintain and service our rental bike fleet.
- Process warranty claims and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
- Complete a variety of repairs, including but not limited to:
- Derailleur adjustments
- Brake bleeds and adjustments
- Wheel truing and tensioning
- E-bike troubleshooting and repair
- Suspension service
- Pivot bearing replacement
- Basic bike fitting
- Utilize supplier websites to research and order compatible parts.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a bike shop or formal training in bicycle mechanics.
- A strong commitment to customer service and a friendly, positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow repair procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Ability to keep a clean, organized workspace.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated on evolving bike technology.
- Ability to identify parts and ensure proper compatibility.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate repair tools and equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift).
- Capable of bending, lifting, and moving items up to 75 pounds.
- Willingness to work weekends and occasional overtime.
- Ability to commute or travel as needed.
