Journeyman Woodworker and Apprentice

Our shop specializes in very high end custom cabinetry in the mountain west and Hawaii. Our work consists mainly of hand-stitched, custom, veneered cabinetry and paneling, doors, furniture, and millwork. We are currently looking for an experienced JOURNEYMAN WOODWORKER as well as an APPRENTICE to join our non-CNC shop. We are building a small team and are looking for motivated, hardworking craftsmen and integrity is a must. These positions are full time.

Journeyman Woodworker job details

Applicants should have experience working in a high end shop and must be able to work closely with others as well as have an eye for detail. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with veneer stitching and pressing. This position will start pay at $40 - $45 based on experience. Hours are 8am-4:30pm but may vary. There will be a 3 week trying period after which the permanent position will be offered.

Apprentice details

Must be self motivated and able to anticipate needs in the shop. Experience working in a wood shop is a plus but not necessary, however, a good work ethic is. We are willing to train the right person and this is a great opportunity to learn the trade with room for advancement. Pay will start at $25 to $30 based on experience. Hours are 8am -4:30pm but may vary. There will be a 3 week qualifying period before a permanent position is offered.
