Modern Millwork , Central Washingtons leading custom residential door manufacturer and finish building materials distributor, is currently seeking a motivated, service oriented professional to join its success-driven sales team. This is a full time salaried position with commission. Earning potential is unlimited. Modern Millwork finds its success through knowledge and service and is looking for a like-minded Sales Associate to enhance its inside/outside sales functions in its Yakima facility.
As a Sales Associate, you will provide assistance to customers as they purchase needed material for their project. You will be expected to source, purchase, price and sell products to an existing and developing customer base.
Specific duties may include:
-Determining customers' needs, recommending and pricing the appropriate product. -sourcing and purchasing products from one of Moderns Vendor network or in-house manufacturing
-visiting customers jobsite for accurate measurements
-Arranging with the warehouse for customer product delivery or pickup
-Following-up on deliveries to ensure the shipment arrived correctly -Managing customer accounts and keeping appropriate inventories. -Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise
Specific qualifications include:
-2 plus years' experience with residential construction, specifically doors, windows and mouldings.
-ability to read blueprints and do material takeoffs
-Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
-Solid time management and prioritization skills
-Basic computer skills. Familiarity with Quickbooks a plus.
-Positive attitude and team player
-Detail and service oriented
-Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not necessary.
