There is one opening with the Yakima County Public Services, Water Resource Division. Positions serves as technical lead for complex Water Resources engineering projects providing senior level technical and professional expertise. Acts as the technical support person to Yakima County elected and senior staff officials on design of flood control and storm water facilities at varying levels of detail (preliminary to final); Storm water facilities; hydraulic, hydrologic and storm water modeling; and managing contracts for consultants and project construction. Required: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and 4 years of professional engineering experience including storm water and flood control; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
