The Washington State Patrol is currently seeking 911 dispatchers (Communications Officer) for our Yakima office. 911 dispatchers are the vital link between calls for assistance and the emergency responders. Communications Officers answer emergency/911 and non-emergency calls from the public, enter calls for service into a computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, as well as provide dispatch services to the State Patrol and 18 other contracted state and federal agencies.
The current salary for dispatchers starts at $4,783 - $6,430 per month. We offer an excellent benefit package including paid holidays, paid leave, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement, and an optional deferred compensation program.
