We’re seeking a strategic and experienced healthcare operations leader to direct our Health Information Management (HIM) department. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with clinic management, practice administrator, or other manager-level healthcare operations experience to step into a high-impact role. Visit our website atwww.yvfwc.comto learn more about our organization.Position Highlights:$79k-$118k annual salary depending on experience.100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, and 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan available.Generous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more.Relocation allowance is available.What We’re Looking For3 or more years of supervisory or management experiencein healthcare operations (e.g., Clinic Manager, Practice Administrator, Quality and Compliance Manager, et al.).HIM Supervisor/Manager experience highly preferred.Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Business, or Healthcare Administration (will consider Associate’s degree with additional experience).Strong understanding of EHR systems, preferably Epic, and familiarity with document imaging and release of information workflows.Have or are working toward RHIA or RHIT certification.Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with managing compliance and regulatory standards.Communicates effectively across departments and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.This role involves complex challenges that require exceptional analytical thinking, creativity, and innovative problem-solving skills.What You’ll DoLead and develop HIM teams, including Document Imaging and Release of Information (ROI).Manage Quality Assurance/Audit program for document imaging and release of information.Partner with the Quality Department to ensure compliance with HIM policies, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.Collaborate with IT, Quality, and Compliance teams to optimize workflows and systems (Epic, OnBase).Oversee quality assurance, training, and performance management.Educate and train staff on document imaging applications and processes.Monitor legislative changes and implement process improvements.Review Joint Commission standards in partnership with IT, Quality, HIM, and ROI SupervisorsRepresent HIM in cross-functional initiatives and system enhancements.Monitor HIM/ROI operations performance using dashboards and productivity standardsRepresent HIM in collaboration with Epic Analysts, ARCR, and CAB, developing and optimizing workflowsCreate an inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Business, or Healthcare Administration and at least 3 years of experience in a supervisor or manager-level role in healthcare operations with direct reports,ORAssociate’s Degree in Health Information Management and at least 5 years of experience in a supervisor or manager-level role in healthcare operations with direct reports.HIM experience in a facility with a fully-implemented EHR is preferred.Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator preferred.
