Licensed Massage Therapist needed for Medical Spa (1015 S. 40th Avenue, Yakima)
Physicians Rehabilitation and Therapy Clinic is in need of a part-time, professional Massage Therapist to assist us with our medical practice. We provide convenient massage therapy for our patients who have endured Automobile accidents and/or personal injury. In addition to our in-house medical massages, we specialize in relieving pain, tension, and stress all the while promoting health and wellness to our clientele.
Massage Therapist responsibilities
Provide professional appointment based massages.
Guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them most.
Take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions.
Design sessions around clients' specific complaints or problem areas.
Listen to clients during massages and adjust technique to meet their needs.
Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions.
Massage Therapist will need:
Current and valid state license for massage therapy.
Experience as a professional massage therapist (preferred, but absolutely not necessary).
Experience working in a spa or therapy center environment (preferred, but absolutely not necessary).
Reliable transportation required.
Excellent customer service and bed-side manor a must.
Willing to continue education and become board certified (we will pay for the national board).
