HR Business Partner Yakima Valley Farm Workers ClinicThis position is located in Yakima, Washington. We are interested in all qualified candidates, including those outside the area who are open to relocating to the Yakima Valley. A warm and approachable person with the ability to interact positively with all staff org-wide from entry-level to Chiefs, and capable of working well with all personality types.

A proactive listener who clarifies information as needed, facilitating an open exchange of ideas and fostering an atmosphere of open communication.

A meticulous person who uses company policies and regulatory compliance to inform your work.

What you'll do:Align HR strategy with organization needs and achieve the HR team's strategic objectives by acting as the HR lead on a range of projects and responsibilities.

Act as the single point of contact for client groups, providing efficient and proactive advisory service to staff and supervisors/management on human resources issues, procedures, and policies consistent with employment standards, laws, and guidelines.

Provide consultation to client group on employee relations issues of low to high complexity including conducting thorough and objective investigations and writing summary reports to support employment-related business decisions.

Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors/managers, including coaching, corrective action, career development, disciplinary actions, and separations.

Actively engage with assigned client groups to learn about key issues/challenges and work with leaders to resolve issues.

Provide coaching and consultation to assigned client groups in the areas of compensation, employee retention, talent planning, employee development, policy interpretation and implementation, and conflict resolution.

Maintain complete and accurate documentation on all employee inquiries, issues, and transactions.

Find opportunities to work through issues with broad and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, organizational behavior, change management, and organization policy.

Work with immigration attorney to complete immigration paperwork for current employees.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

3-5 years of broad HR experience, including experience in resolving complex employee relations issues.

Current driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance coverage.

Experience in a non-profit, healthcare, and/or multi-location employer preferred but not required.

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
