Double K Retreat Center is a not-for-profit Christian retreat center open to groups from all walks of life. We operate year-round; our busy seasons being Jan-March and June-August. We are searching for the right candidate to be our on-site Lead Maintenance Technician. Off-site is OK if the right fit.
The position requires experience and knowledge in all areas of maintenance operations and mechanical skills. The ideal candidate should have experience and demonstrate proficiency in the areas of: creative solutions, detailed troubleshooting, material organization, HVAC, concrete, roofing, appliance repair, timber work, mechanical skills, construction skills, equipment operation, audio/video skills, painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, power tools, hand tools, etc
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, machinery, and equipment, .
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues effectively.
Repair plumbing and other basic maintenance needs
Respond to late night maintenance emergencies
Organize and maintain all storage and maintenance areas
Maintain landscape using tow-behind mowers, riding mowers, line trimmers, brush hogs, etc
Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Help facilitate youth program activities such as paintball, archery, climbing wall, music workshops, art room, snow-tubing, disc golf
Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour. 2 bedroom single wide home available at a reduced rent.
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
Maintenance: 5 years (Required)
