This position starts at $22 with the potential to increase over time based on expanded job responsibilities and established experience.

Provides financial and administrative support to the Finance Department in some or all of the tasks below:

Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounts receivable functions

Prepare all AR invoices for HopeSource programs, including supporting documents and reports that comply with agency and contract policy

Maintain the filing system for paid and unpaid invoices for program grants

Follow up with outstanding payments or past-due accounts

Process receipts & bank deposits on a regular basis

Prepare journal entries for AR & budget-related transactions

Maintain chart of accounts for new clients and vendors

Maintain files for all AR/CR/BD related financial transactions

Review the monthly supporting documents received from Sub Contractor

Attend staff meetings and trainings as required

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Two-year AA degree in Accounting or Business preferred.

One year experience in bookkeeping/accounting functions.

Two years' experience in working in an office/administrative environment.

Proven ability to prepare reports and handle extensive written communications.

Proven ability to use computers, spreadsheets and administrative programs.

Accurate and organized.
