The Program Support Coordinator (PSC) assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of CPC mediation and training programs, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively, while also managing administrative tasks and supporting CPC program goals. The PSC also assists with small claims court mediations and translation for monolingual, Spanish-speaking clients and provides guidance and advice to CPC leadership on linguistic and cultural norms for the CPC’s regional Spanish-speaking population.
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:
Planning and Coordination: assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of program plans, timelines, activities, and budgets.
Mediation: provide in-office, virtual, and small claims court (SCC) mediations when needed. (SCC coverage will primarily be in Yakima and Grandview, and occasional travel will be needed to Ellensburg and Cle-Elum to support mediator coverage and/or to provide mediations in Spanish).
Data Collection, Entry, Reporting, and Evaluation: track, gather, and report data to funders (ResWA, A&V), Board of Directors, and for the purposes of ongoing program evaluation and assessment.
Marketing, Outreach, and Event Planning: assist with marketing, outreach, event planning, and social media development, maintenance, and revision as needed.
Administrative Support: perform administrative tasks in support of the Mediation programs and the Director of Programs, specifically:
Mediator Scheduling Coordination: Ensure mediator coverage for all scheduled mediations (monitor schedules for conflicts and resolve in a timely manner), maintain accurate record-keeping and consistent communication with volunteers and/or staff mediators; send reminders for both in-office and Zoom sessions; provide relevant case file documents to Zoom mediators and be available for technical support.
Ellensburg-Based Mediation Coordination: Manage venue communications and scheduling for Ellensburg-based mediations. Coordinate with the intake team to ensure client and mediator availability.
Pre-Session Orientation: Facilitate informational sessions for clients (via phone or in person) to explain the mediation process, set expectations, and answer questions prior to their scheduled mediation.
Front Office Support: Provide backup phone and front-office coverage when needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluently Bilingual/Bi-literate in English and Spanish
Completion of the Mediator Certification process (when next offered)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate cooperatively with staff, volunteers, board members, and community partners
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of 40-hour Professional Mediation Training and 20-hour Family Mediation Training
Training in, experience with, and/or knowledge of Restorative Justice/Practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
Excellent Microsoft Office and data management skills
Minimum of Bachelor of Arts Degree or three or more years’ experience as an administrative professional, mediation case manager, project manager, or equivalent position
Education and/or experience in Social Services
