Estimator For Local Restoration Company!

The Restoration Estimator is responsible for assessing and preparing detailed estimates and supplements for repairing properties damaged by various factors, including water, fire, wind, and mold. The estimates and supplements will be completed using various methods such as on-site walk-throughs, investigations, and 3D scans. This role involves heavy use of estimating software Xactimate or Symbility (as required), collaborating with insurance adjusters and ensuring that all estimates are accurate and comprehensive. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the residential and commercial building and property restoration processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.

Job Duties Include:

Conduct on-site inspections of damaged properties to assess the extent of damage and necessary repairs.

Prepare a 3D scan of the properties affected area.

Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates using Xactimate software or Symbility (as required).

Ensure all estimates are completed within specified timelines and meet company quality standards.

Collaborate with insurance adjusters, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure all estimates are aligned with project requirements.

Coordinate with the reconstruction team to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.

Communicate effectively with the Production Team, subcontractors, and clients throughout restoration.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, insurance requirements, and restoration techniques.

Maintain an complete and accurate project DASH file.

Minimum Qualifications

Proven experience as a Restoration Estimator or in a similar role within the restoration industry.

Proficiency in Xactimate software is required.

Strong knowledge of building processes, property restoration techniques, materials, and processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

OSHA 10 Construction Safety Certification

CPR/First Aid Card

Preferred Requirements

Bi-lingual Spanish and English

5-7 years in property restoration

IICRC Certifications

Level 2 or 3 Xactimate user

1 -2 years of DASH or CRM software experience

OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification

Asbestos Awareness Certification

Salary and Benefits
