CASE MANAGER
Job description
Grace City Outreach is hiring for a Full-Time Case Manager to work at Camp Hope in Yakima, WA. Camp Hope Shelter Case Managers must demonstrate a desire to work with homeless clients in a high paced customer service enviroment. Camp Hope is a Low-Barrier Homeless Shelter which works with various clients in various stages for people experiencing homelessness.
Case Managers will be responsible for engaging with clients, assisting in navigating the homeless response resources, providing direct referrals to other service providers and monitoring progress or overcoming barriers.

The following are requirements for the position:
Be willing to work both Day Shifts, Evening Shifts, Holidays and Weekends.
Usually from 9am - 5pm.
Must have a valid drivers license and a driving record that will allow them to operate a company vehicle.
Must have excellent people skills and enjoy working with people.
Must have the ability to defuse situations in a calm demeanor.
Believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect at all times.
Must demonstrate the ability to protect confidential information to include client information.
Must be willing to work as part of a team in a high-paced team oriented enviroment.
Demonstrate the ability to make clear, sound decisions based on organizational policy.
Be able to pass a criminal background check and random drug screenings.
Write accurate reports and communicate well in both writing and verbally.
Be available to start work immediately.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:
Human Services or Working with Homeless: 1 year (Required)
Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
