Position Summary - Sales Manager
As a Sales Manager, your job is to build relationships with growers and distributors in order to expand and develop the Washington and Oregon market for Altrac. This is a unique opportunity to work with a fast-growing startup. Activities include presenting sales demos, closing deals, and supporting new and existing clients. You will be Altracs eyes and ears in Washington. You must be comfortable in the field, able to climb ladders, work well independently, enjoy working with people, and familiar with the basics of mechanical and electrical systems. Growers use our webapp to control their equipment, so you must be comfortable with apps and websites.

Requirements
2+ years in an outside/field sales role.
Ag background or knowledge of permanent crops, irrigation or frost protection preferred.
Must maintain a valid, clean drivers license.
The ability to travel 2-3 nights per month to cover the territory. Overnight trips throughout Washington and Oregon.
Bring in positive-energy, strong work ethic, and self-discipline.
Ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
Able to analyze and make sense of data and charts.
Understanding of smartphone and desktop computer use.
Working knowledge of CRM software
