Patriot Companies LLC is seeking a full-time Weld Specialist. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of both MIG and TIG welding as well as the ability to set up and verify operation of welding equipment. We are seeking an individual with the drive to continue learning and perfecting the craft while working in a fast-paced environment. The ability to read and understand prints is a plus but not required if you are willing to learn. The chosen candidate will be expected to work 40 hrs/week with possible overtime, depending on project requirements.
Essential Duties
Safety is our first priority; work areas are to be kept clean and safety compliant
Select and setup appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project
Welding project prep, including workspace and material planning, moving heavy material
with forklifts, grinding and measuring.
Inspecting welded surfaces for flaws
Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Minimum Qualifications
Competency in MIG and TIG welding of various materials
Knowledge of best practices and safety procedures
Experience with manual and power tools
Ability to reliably arrive on time.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates with professional certifications, or
successful completion of an apprenticeship program.

Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Pay: $17-$21 per hour DOE
Shift:
10 hour shift Monday-Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays.
