RSG Landscaping & Lawn Care, Inc. is currently seeking to hire full-time Landscaping Technicians to join our WV Branch.
JOB SUMMARY: Performs manual duties associated with multi-skilled trades work in any of the Company's divisions (landscaping, maintenance, erosion control, irrigation, and hardscaping)
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs routine construction, installation, maintenance and/or repair in any one or more of the following areas: Irrigation, Landscaping, Maintenance and/or Seeding.
- Operates motorized equipment relative to work unit such as hand-held and power equipment, light and heavy-duty vehicles, and/or commercial class vehicles.
- Performs minor repair and preventive maintenance on equipment and/or vehicles.
- Ensures that applicable safety precautions are followed by self and team members.
- Performs routine technical calculations relative to work unit, such as chemical application rates and quantities of materials needed.
- Completes necessary documentation such as work orders and other records.
- Uses blue prints, maps and manuals to perform work.
- Interprets written and oral instructions.
- Performs assigned duties in response to emergencies such as storms and snow removal;
- Assists, participates or leads in training;
- Participates in team activities such as planning and problem solving
- Communicates effectively and courteously with customers, coworkers and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications: Valid drivers license, experience in the landscape industry

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and must occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds, depending on the needs of the specific work unit. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibrations throughout the day. The noise level is usually loud, but may occasionally be very loud.
