This is a full-time position with a great local dealership. An AutomotiveTechnician in our dealership needs to be thorough, efficient, and friendly, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some Saturday and early evening work will be required. We are looking for someone who is neat in appearance, reliable and accurate, with the ability to work well with others. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair. Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts. Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. Communicates with Service Manager/ Used Car Manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the Service Manager/Used Car Manager Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events. Keeps shop area neat and clean. Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed. Other duties as assigned. Job requirements include but are not limited to: ASE certifications are preferred Previous experience as an automotive technician Your own set of tools · Basic knowledge of automotive technology and related tools/equipment · Strong customer service focus · Valid driver’s license, with a good record · Bending, stooping, twist, turn, lift above shoulder level, repetitive hand/arm motion, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds · High school diploma or equivalent required · Need to be able to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission · Need ability to recognize any other work the vehicle may need · Ability to communicate well with Service Writers. Experience with any of the following is very helpful: Toyota dealership, Independent repair facility, Tire or Import shops

Able to provide exceptional customer service by assessing patient needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction. Able to efficiently multi-task and adapt to fast-paced environments with frequently changing protocols and processes.
