Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.THE ROLEAs an Electrical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2025, your responsibility will be to work along-side Oshkosh Electrical Engineers, assisting with projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering, all while making a tangible impact on the world around you.YOUR IMPACTAs an Electrical Engineering Intern your experience may include:
Support Electrical Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development
Select parts or components for quality conscious design, i.e., weight, cost, reliability, and ease of manufacturing
Use 3D modeling software (CATIA and/or -CREO) integrated with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses for trucks
Create Electrical schematics using E3 Series or CREO Schematics
Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production build, provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues
Generate bill of materials
Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the duration of the summer 2025 internship. Summer housing is available to interns whose permanent address is greater than 50 miles from their work location.
