As a manager in the Life Call Center, you will lead and manage a front-line and professional call center team to peak effectiveness and efficiency in order to deliver maximum results. You will provide leadership and handle corporate, divisional, or departmental projects and solutions, including people, process, budget, deliverables and strategic direction.Job DescriptionJob Duties and Responsibilities

Build and maintain a high-performing team in the Life Call Center; craft, develop, coach, reward and recognize team members

Manage work distribution, resource management and staffing levels within workgroup

Assist in and develop team goals, priorities and metrics

Monitor progress toward goals, analyze variances, take corrective action and adapt plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges

Provide staff with ongoing mentorship and performance coaching

Resolve raised customer cases, situations and inquiries

Partner with legal and compliance to conduct operations in compliance with pertinent laws and regulations

Analyze current processes, procedures and develop new work methods to improve member and field experience, while completing work more efficiently and effectively

Participate in, represent, and/or lead departmental projects or operational improvements that improve operational unit performance

Required Job Qualifications

College degree or equivalent

Demonstrated process/people leadership. 2+ years of successful people leadership preferred

Professional credentials preferred (e.g. FLMA, ALHC, CLU)

Strong communication/interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service, conflict management, teamwork and coaching skills

Knowledge of Life products and systems desired

Experience with significantly improving processes and leading change

Eagerness to maintain an external perspective of emerging management and operations’ trends

This is a licensed position. Requires SIE, Series 6, and Series 26 within 90 days of hire
