If you’re ready to take ownership of transformative projects and make a tangible difference, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing.How you will make an impactProcess Innovation and Efficiency: Process Development & Optimization: Develop and optimize the electronic assembly process by innovatively using new tools, processes, and efficiency improvements.Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies, materials, and components that enhance the assembly process or product quality.Design for Manufacturability: Provide input during the design phase to ensure products are designed for ease of assembly and cost-effective production.Continuous Improvement Drive improvement to existing processes that reduce cost, risk, and wasteTechnical Support and Equipment Management:Equipment Maintenance: Manage the installation, calibration, process control, and preventive maintenance of assembly equipment, including SMT machines, wave soldering machines, spray coating machines, reflow ovens, and inspectionProblem Solving & Support: Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to safety, quality, assembly, and process defects.Prototyping & Design Validation: Define and oversee prototypes of new electronic products or systems to validate design concepts and functionality.Collaboration and Project Leadership:Project Management: Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and timely completion.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, to bring innovative products from concept to production.Project Leadership: Lead initiatives aimed at improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost savings, using ITW Toolbox principles to achieve business objectives.Communication: Demonstrate effective communication at all organizational levels, providing progress updates on projects, identifying barriers, and recommending solutions.What you need to do to be successful in this role: Self-Accountability: Demonstrate a positive attitude, high motivation, and a keen sense of personal accountability.Proven project management skills: a drive to learn and continuously improve.
