We are seeking an entry-level Kitchen Crew to join our team at Papa B's Pizza & Barbecue!
As Kitchen Crew, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking delicious pizzas and BBQ meals to order and providing exceptional customer facing service. Duties:
- Prepare pizza dough and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate pizza oven and other kitchen equipment effectively and safely.
- Monitor cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.
- Prepare and assemble meal orders with accuracy and consistency.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with general kitchen duties, such as cleaning and organizing workstations.
- Regularly Interact with customers (Take Orders, Answer Phone, Hand Orders to Customers)
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Entry level position / Willing to train.
- Supplemental Tipped Income.
- Ability to use commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Upbeat attitude and ability to interact with customers.
Hours:
Part Time up to 35 hours/week as agreed.
Business is open Tuesday through Sunday 11a - 8p with seasonal hours adjustments.
Shifts would typically be 2 all-day shifts plus one to three 3-4 hour shifts.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour plus tips.
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
