Dependable, hardworking, high-energy individual sought for monument setter and shop worker including concrete finishing (flatwork). Training provided onsite. On the road with longer hours in the summer months in a medium-duty truck installing granite monuments outdoors around the NE Wisconsin region. Must have a valid driver's license. Forklift experience a plus. Rewarding work with good people for a 130+ year-old family business.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs
Shovel material, such as gravel and sod into wheelbarrow
Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use
Using hoist or crane for loading and unloading granite monuments
Using handcart to move granite within shop or cemetery as necessary
Using maps and directions to locate cemeteries and specific setting locations within cemetery
Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads
Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging
Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment
$22.00 starting pay with 5% increase after 90 days.
