We are currently seeking a seasoned professional to join our growing team as a Snow Manager. This role is crucial in leading and overseeing all aspects of our snow and ice removal operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day snow and ice removal operations.Develop and implement efficient and effective snow management strategies.Evaluate and review snow department staff, determining budget allowances for annual raises and training.Oversee the deployment of equipment, personnel, and resources to various sites.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.Renew all existing desired snow contracts by September 1.Achieve or exceed targeted new client growth goals per year.Ensure client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding service expectations.Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.Supervise, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of snow removal professionals.Coordinate training programs to enhance team skills and safety awareness.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Recruit, screen, and train all necessary sub-contractors to provide snow services that exceed Vande Hey Company standards.Develop and manage budgets for snow management operations.Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure profitability.Establish and enforce high-quality standards for snow removal services.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.Evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers and equipment providers.Implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment to ensure reliability.Stay informed about local regulations and industry standards related to snow and ice removal.Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and other relevant regulations.Develop and implement emergency response plans for severe weather events.Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the snow management industry.Proven leadership and team management skills.In-depth knowledge of snow and ice removal techniques, equipment, and materials.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.Currently hold and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
