Job Description:
House of Flooring, a local floor covering store, is looking for a full-time Interior Designer/Sales Associate. You would have the opportunity to work with customers on all their interior design needs. The position includes working with clients on selecting all variety of flooring choices including carpet, hardwood, ceramic tile, laminate, vinyl, and blinds.
Essential Duties:
- Greet customers immediately following their arrival at the showroom
- Assist the customer with interior design service and provide quotes to the customer using our flooring software
- Ensure showroom is maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
- Maintain contact with client throughout process to ensure customer satisfaction
- Travel to job sites as needed
- Assist receptionist with phone calls and other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Past experience in Sales and Interior Design is preferred but not required
- A sound work ethic and respect for detail
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in computers
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
