At Early Alert, we prevent Veteran suicide by partnering with VA facilities and community-based organizations. We are looking for a Veteran Wellness Outreach Specialist to enroll Veterans in our life-saving service.
The Basics
Compensation consists of a combination of base pay and performance-based bonus.
Total compensation with performance-based bonuses can reach $35/hour. Base compensation is $16/hour.
Part-Time or Full-Time, flexible hours.
This position requires some local travel.
You will be reporting directly to the CEO.
Typical Day
Drive to a VA facility and set up a table at the waiting area for the primary care clinic.
Engage Veterans who are waiting to be seen, introduce them to Early Alert, and invite them to enroll via a QR code or by texting them an enrollment link.
Document concerns Veterans express regarding enrollment, in order to develop ways of addressing these concerns during conversations with program leadership.
Debrief via phone/zoom with program leadership, to identify areas of success and areas requiring additional development.
