We are seeking an experienced Residential Window Subcontractor to install, replace, and service residential windows and related products. The ideal candidate or crew will have strong knowledge of residential construction practices, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
-Remove existing windows safely and dispose of materials per job site requirements.
-Ensure installations meet manufacturer guidelines, local building codes, and energy efficiency standards.
-Perform waterproofing, flashing, caulking, and insulation for all window openings.
-Coordinate with homeowners, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
-Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
-Provide your own tools, transportation, and insurance (general liability and workers’ compensation).
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2–5 years of experience in residential window installation or related carpentry work.
-Strong understanding of installation best practices, including sealing, leveling, and structural anchoring.
-Reliable transportation and tools required.
-Valid contractor’s license (if applicable by state).
-Must carry proper insurance coverage.
-Excellent communication and time management skills.
