Assistant Dispatcher Position:
1. Can think critically with the movement/placement of drivers and loads
2. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
3. Must be trainable
4. Must have great communication skills both verbal and written
5. The job requires employee to communicate to each driver/employee what their job/task is for the day.
6. Must be detail orientated as small mistakes cause big issues in trucking/logistics
7. Must be able to enter data into a database
8. Minimum of 5 years of trucking dispatch experience wanted
9. Ability to work well with others
10. Ability to route trucks in the most efficient manner while still taking care of the needs of customers.
11. Must be able to work 7/8AM-5PM. 30-60 minute lunch
12. Must be able to sit all day at a desk.
13. Ideal candidate will be able to multi-task the needs of the day.
14. Trucking dispatchers must have a good memory, as the day is full of a multitude of information that is to be analyzed
15. Should be respectful and responsible.

Ideal candidate can take all the pieces of the puzzle, lay them out, analyze the details and PAIR loads with drivers that makes everyone happy.
