Position Summary: This position performs skilled mechanical work in the maintenance and repair of Town vehicles and various associated equipment, with oversight from the Shop Foreman.

Requirements: Vocational/technical degree from an accredited program in gasoline and/or diesel mechanics; three (3) years’ experience repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles and motorized equipment; Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker (N) endorsement and no air brake restriction. The Town may consider any equivalent amount of credentials, licensures, training, or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.
Salary: The full wage range is $28.11 - $36.15 with expected hiring range between $28.11 – $32.13 depending on qualifications.
