Our team has grown to over 900 employees and we are looking to add another – possibly you!Scope of Responsibilities: Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goalsResponsibilitiesJob Duties:

Schedule and post schedules of all Filling Technicians to ensure adequate floor coverage on all shifts

Monitor attendance, tardiness, sick and vacation time, and all absences for compliance with company [policy, and verify time sheets weekly for validity

Maintain strict adherence to all policies and procedures

Advise Facility Manager of all pertinent events and exceptions within assigned department

Evaluate department employees and complete performance evaluations

Institute, in conjunction with the Facility Manager, performance improvement plans for poor work performance

Recommend to the Facility Manager disciplinary action for violation of policies and procedures

Monitor work flow within the department and assign employees to facility timely completion of tasks

Monitor Filling Technicians for accuracy, and supervise staff in the proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacists

Work closely with purchasing staff and assign filling technicians, when necessary, to assist in ordering receiving and storing of inventory.

Work closely with other staff to facilitate the on-boarding and training of new employees

Train, maintain and supervise all automation functions

Process and export batches for Automed filling

Coordinate filling and check in of cycle, anniversary, and Automed Daily/monthly fills

Processing and printing of routine and cycle fill labels for dispensing

Is a member of and actively participates in pharmacy manager team meetings

Assist the Facility Manager in achieving the desired goals and targets for the pharmacy

Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs

Perform other duties as assigned

QualificationsAttendance Requirements:Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shiftsEducation:

Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED

Preferred: AS Degree or Higher

Experience:

Preferred: 2 or more years previous experience in related position

Required (Vermont Employees):

Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

Required Ohio Employees Only):

Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

Special Conditions of Employment:

Drug test

Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring

Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Job Skills Required:

Detailed knowledge of specific department

Basic keyboarding and calculator skills

Strong communication skills

Strong organization skills

Limited lifting up to 80 lbs.

Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test

HIPPA Privacy Course

HIPPA Security Course

Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Course

MethGuard Course
