Description We are searching for a Project Assistant to join our team in the Social Care/Services industry. This role is based in Brookfield, Wisconsin and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Project Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a range of project-related tasks including organization and shipping functions. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and organization of the workspace for renovation activities Safely remove items such as pictures from walls, ensuring they are properly wrapped and boxed Accurately label and categorize boxed items for easy identification Transport boxed items to designated locations using available tools such as carts and elevators Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely Organize files and documents associated with the project Perform other related duties as assigned, adhering to safety and industry standards Utilize organizational skills to ensure smooth operation of project activities Participate in project meetings and discussions, providing updates on task progress Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the project execution. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field Experience in project management or administrative roles within the Social Care/Services sector Proficient in organizing files and maintaining documentation Knowledge of shipping functions and logistics Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet project deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools Demonstrated problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of social care policies and regulations Demonstrated commitment to promoting social welfare and advocacy.
