If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?What you will be doing:The Workforce and Financial analytics team is part of a newly formed data, analytics, and management reporting organization within FIS’ Capital Markets delivery organization.The Senior Analyst will be key to shaping how the delivery organization effectively plans & manages labor expense, ensuring accuracy and transparency of the data and providing supporting management information that allows the delivery leaders to make informed decisions to manage their budget.The role reports to the Workforce and Financial Analytics team and will be a key member of this newly formed team.This role will be required to report to the office 2 days a weekPosition Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):Collaborates with the Finance & Accounting team to implement accurate labor expense forecast reports (wage waterfall).Collaborates with the Finance & Accounting team to analyze monthly labor expense forecast reports to ensures data in upstream workforce system is accurate.Gathers, prepares and summarizes analysis that explains variances to expense forecasts.Meets with organizational unit/department managers to discuss labor forecast discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.Supports the hiring process by ensuring that all hiring requests are aligned to the financial forecast.Defines and implements Workforce and Finance Analytics management reporting and prepares insightful reporting and analysis for Senior Leadership.Trains internal employees on changes to Workforce and Finance practices, processes or procedures.Provides coaching and/or guidance to less experienced Business Analysts in the teamWhat you bring:Works independently with only administrative supervision and the ability to overcome major obstacles and recognize early when issues should be escalated or a senior peer needs to be consulted.Wide latitude for independent judgment and is expected to provide guidance and cross-training to others.Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.Consults with senior peers on moderate to complex processes to learn through experience.Possess mature business judgment; proactive and results orientedAccustomed to operating in fast-paced environment with demanding internal clientsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or similar discipline7-10 years relevant experienceHighly analyticalProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work well independently and within a teamAdded bonus if you have:Experience working in a finance functionFinancial modelling experienceFirst experience in working with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBIWhat we offer you:At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
