Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionIn this position, candidates will be responsible for fitting parts to print and then MIG welding using the weld symbols on the drawing. They may use a jig to fit up their parts and perform quality checks using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. They may also use a grinder or sander to grind down the welds. All welds will be inspected by a quality inspector before being sent out, and candidates will be certified prior to welding on the parts. Upholding the quality standards for the DOD is essential. These are 2nd shift positions starting on 8/5, Monday - Thursday 3:45 pm - 1:45 am. Training on 1st shift (6 am - 4 pm, Monday-Thursday with optional Fridays) is preferred but not mandatory.Hard Skills
2+ years of MIG welding experience on mild steel

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Clintonville, Wisconsin.Work EnvironmentThe culture here is very friendly. It is located in a small town with many farmers and former farmers working here. There are two buildings across the street from each other. The older building, where most steel welding occurs, can be somewhat loud and darker. Welding cells here accommodate 1 to 3 people. This is where the steel comes in as raw material, is fitted, and welded.
