Become a Certified Dyslexia Practitioner
The Children's Dyslexia center of Upper Wisconsin is pleased to offer a limited number of fully paid scholarships (Valued at $6000) for our IMSLEC accredited Dyslexia Practitioner tutor training. Training begins at the end of June 2024 and runs over the course of a year. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any field and a strong desire to learn about dyslexia and reading remediation. Tutor trainees are required to complete 60 hours of course lecture and discussion, in-depth reading assignments, quizzes and exams, and 100 hours of supervised practicum at the center. All training is held in person on weekends, typically with one to two training days a month throughout the year. Application deadline is May 31, 2024.
