Food Science R&D Technologist, Eau Claire, WIKelly Scientific Resources has a Direct Hire opportunity for a Food Science R&D Technologist in Eau Claire, WI with a leading international condiment company.Food Science R&D Technologist Duties:
Perform new product development, quality assurance, and technical services work
Mix and prepare product samples of sauces, condiments, etc.
Assist with formulating new products and improving existing products
Set up tasting tests
Perform laboratory testing on samples: pH, sodium level, wet chemistry, viscosity, etc.
Assist with sourcing new ingredients
Evaluate Quality of samples from manufacturing/ occasionally visit co-packers offsite
Prepare technical documentation as needed by customers
Food Science R&D Technologist Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Food Science
Experience (undergraduate/internship) in new product development or applications
Experience developing or cooking with Asian cuisine
Interest in Japanese culture/cuisine
