The ideal candidate should be someone who is passionate about client advocacy, have a strong attention to detail, and be committed to fostering a supportive and respectful environment. Here are some of the key responsibilities of the said position:

- Medication Administration Support: Assist the Program Manager in administering all prescribed and over-the-counter medications as per client requirements.

- Daily Living Assistance: Provide assistance and/or supervision to clients with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meal planning, and symptom management. Promote client independence and rights advocacy, tailored to individual strengths, needs, and physician.

- Community and Leisure Coordination: Support the coordination of client appointments and leisure activities, ensuring residents are engaged and connected with their community.

- Client Transportation: Transport/drive clients to scheduled appointments and other community activities, providing safe and reliable transportation based on individual needs and requests.

- Physical Capability: Maintain the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and accommodate a range of mobility needs as required to support residents safely and effectively.

- Communication & Knowledge: Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills in English, along with a strong understanding of treatment methods specific to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and other related conditions.

- Administrative Support: Assist the Program Manager in managing resident files, completing end-of-day reports, and handling other administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

- On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation, providing support and availability during off-hours as required to meet client needs and ensure program continuity.

Job Requirements :

-Be able to pass a caregiver background check

-GED/High School Diploma

-18 years of age or older

- 1 year of caregiving experience if possible but not necessary

-Confident in stressful situations

-Need to have a valid Driver's License

This is a full-time, on-site position with 40-45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at a rate of $16 per hour. The position includes 40 hours of prorated paid time off upon hire, plus comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, an on-call bonus, a referral bonus, and annual pay increases to recognize and reward your dedication.
