PALS is a family owned and operated company supporting adults with disabilities. Our members live in 4 bed Adult Family Homes. We are located on the west side of Eau Claire.
This job can be fast paced at times, but also very laid back. There is plenty of time to get to know our members, have fun with them, eat with them, go on fun outings, and even sleep at their home. We have a great group of dependable, trust worthy, and caring staff at our homes. This creates a better environment for everyone. A positive work environment is key for our members and staff.
Job duties include cooking, cleaning, documentation, medication management, behavior monitoring and management, mental health monitoring, positive communication with co-workers and members, ability to listen and give empathy while creating safe boundaries. Some medical intervention is needed but this home requires no lifting or excessive personal cares.
OPEN HOURS: This is a set schedule. Your hours do not change, unless you choose to pick up extra. Weekends will be scheduled as they become available, or fill in as needed
Hours are as follows: Monday 7a-11a, Tuesday 7a-3p, Friday 7a-3p.
Wage: $12/hr
Lead staff skills include: detail oriented, organized, good communicator, positive professional attitude, and flexibility to help out when needed.
If you want to work in a caring, family oriented, and fair workplace CNA not needed. All training done 1:1 on site.
You must be 18 and have a drivers license with a good driving record. We provide vehicles. Please email, text, or call with interest/questions. We will complete a phone interview, and then a face to face interview.
