Assists with the compliance of all personnel policies and procedures. Assists with ensuring the company is compliant with all State/Province and Federal Employment Laws including filing and confidentiality. New employee onboarding and off boarding responsibilities. Will also assist with some administrative safety responsibilities. This position will be 20 - 25 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
1 year or more experience in an HR/Administrative position
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
General knowledge of employment laws, policies, and regulations
Ability to use database software and Human Resources Information Systems
Understanding of confidentiality policies and other regulatory policies
Intermittent travel to Tractor Central locations, recruiting events, etc.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Associates Degree in Human Resources preferred but not required
Job Responsibilities:
Assists with managing employee files by keeping them current, organized, compliant with regulations, and maintaining proper confidentiality of the information
Assists with recruiting and new hire efforts including providing interview guides to managers, scheduling interviews, filing paperwork, and ensuring new hires complete required paperwork
Loading and setup of new hires
Performs training during new employee orientation
Assists managers with compliance to the organization’s performance management processes and files necessary documentation
Assists with managing several HRIS and benefit systems
Assists in reconciliation of benefits/billing
Helps with recruiting events
General/broad range of administrative safety responsibilities
Compensation:
Hourly rate, commensurate with experience
