Position Description
Events, Public Relations, and Social Media Coordinator (with Barista work)
Job Purpose:
To create and facilitate a variety of quality event programming and art shows at the Raw Deal while being present for all scheduled events and space rentals. To market all events at the Raw Deal in a cohesive way to develop appropriate brand awareness and reach new customers. To create, update, and maintain Raw Deal’s social media platform including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, and Raw Deal website with applicable posts/stories with a minimum of 5 posts per week to facilitate continued growth
Job Description:
To develop and execute applicable and exciting events, art shows, live music, fundraisers, private events, offsite promotional events, etc. and assist individuals in set up of all events, general oversight and management of events, be present at all events and address questions, concerns or issues.
Initiate public relation events cohesive with Raw Deal business (Including, but not limited to: Summer and Winter Farmer’s Market, Stout Welcome to Menomonie events, Volume One Restaurant week, live music, art pop up events, private space rentals, etc.
To consistently create, communicate, and deliver Raw Deal marketing material in a timely manner
Communicate beer/wine inventory needs in advance for event, order and stock and promote wines
Maintain accurate and visually appealing events calendar in store
To plan and communicate staffing needs to general manager for events.
Continually maintain social media platform with daily posts and stories (minimum of 5 weekly) to promote Raw Deal’s products, space, community etc. Continually maintain and update other online presence and online reviews to stay current in our community
Create, market and promote all events in a timely manner.
Work with General Manager to execute job responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:

Create and execute all events, art shows, space rentals, off site promotional events, live music etc.
Check dates and schedule and book events with regard to other local events
Maintain ongoing timely communication with participants
Market appropriately 1 month in advance
Communicate staffing needs 1 month in advance to general manager
Maintain schedule of space rentals and communicate special requirements/requests
Create and promote Facebook and Instagram events
Send monthly events to V1, DC Datebook, Stout Etc.
Obtain applicable posters monthly and distribute to local businesses
Keep in-store events calendar accurate and vibrant,
Coordinate monthly art shows:
including set-up, take down, guidelines, receptions, & advertising
Develop relationships with musicians and artists
Update artist and performer contracts as well as space rental agreements and keep on file
Maintain a spreadsheet of contact & payment information
Reply to events email account
Plan and attend all public relations events
Continually seek new events and public relations for Raw Deal
Social Media Coordinator:
Create and maintain social media platform, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, and Raw Deal Website.
Post/update the Raw Deal social media accounts to maintain consistent presence (minimum of 5 weekly)
Work with appropriate software for cohesiveness and harmony within social media platform and graphic designs for events and posts 1 month in advance of event
Coordinate with general manger for subject matter for posts and promotions
Position Requirements:
Position offers flexible scheduling-but employee must be available weekends and evenings
Must be self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team
Must have Wisconsin serve safe certification
Ability to perform graphic design projects
Must have excellent and timely communication skills
