About This Opportunity
Global Finishing Solutions is seeking an Assembler II to join our Electrical Panel Shop. In this role, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and using various manufacturing equipment and hand tools to build and attach various parts, materials, and equipment to custom products. You will pre-assemble our control panels that are used to operate our equipment. The assembler will interact with others in the shop and design/engineering department in the performance of these duties.
What You Will Do
Assemble standard and custom products as outlined on blueprints
Ability to read an electrical schematic and provide wiring for standard parts
Verify that the blueprint, schematic information, and other paperwork is accurate and correct
Operate mobile equipment such as overhead crane, forklift, jib crane and other equipment as needed
Pack products by operating multiple shop tools including drills, radial arm saws, nail guns, and various air powered tools according to specified safety requirements
Assemble piping assembles in custom products
What You Have to Offer
High School Diploma or GED
2-4 years experience in manufacturing preferably experience in wiring control panels
Ability to operate cranes and mobile equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to assemble custom products
Ability to provide electrical wiring for standard products
