We are currently looking to fill a full-time, Inventory Manager opening. This position acts similar to an Automotive Service Manager role. As the Inventory Manager, you will manage and guide each vehicle owned by the dealership through our inspection, repair, and preparation process. You will manage inspections, order parts, manage internal technician’s schedules and distribute work to them, interface with and manage vendor relationships, and a variety of other tasks. This is a very diverse and enjoyable position with a wide scope and significant growth potential.
Capital Motor Company is a highly respected, Eau Claire based, motor vehicle dealership specializing in nationwide, online vehicle sales. We are focused on customer service and providing affordable, reliable, luxury oriented automobiles, boats, RVs, and motorcycles. Our inventory has included six-figure price tag motorhomes, top of the line ski/wakeboard boats, 1-of-a-kind custom choppers, high-end exotic sports cars and everything in between. You will enjoy the variety of different work on a day to day basis and will be working in a relaxed, friendly and fun work environment!
Knowledge and experience around all different types of vehicles and mechanical aptitude are very helpful for this position but are not necessary.
A successful Inventory Manager MUST be very organized and detail oriented. You should be able to handle multiple tasks at one time and be able to properly prioritize these tasks. Excellent communication in both written and verbal are essential to this position.
This position has a flexible full-time work schedule, Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM. Compensation for this position will vary depending on your experience and qualifications and starting pay will range from $40,000 to $60,000 annually.
Previous experience is not necessary but knowledge and passion for automobiles is preferred. Service writers/managers, parts managers, technicians, recent grads, operations managers, general managers, engineers and other professionals are encouraged to apply!
Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and possess an acceptable driving record.
