This is the closest you'll ever get to being an owner operator with out paying the bills. If big companies and workplace drama isn't for you this could be a good fit for you. I do the maintenance and my wife runs the books.
Truck is Peterbilt 567 565 hp. 13 speed manual, 58" sleeper so you take a break if you wish.
Can make your own work schedule but must average 5 days per week. ( I would consider 2 part time drivers to equal one full time driver.)
Start time is approx 3 AM on weekdays. Sat. and Sun. can be later.
We pull preloaded flatbeds which some are tarped and vans. Open to other hauls if you have your own connections.
If you are needed at your home or something comes up quick etc.you can leave early and make it up as you see fit.
I'm very particular keeping sharp safe equipment. We aren't going to hire just anyone. You will need at least 2 references from someone that will verify you are a good responsible worker. I too will offer references of people that have worked for me in the past. The last driver was with us 12 years in this position.
