Aerotek, voted Best in Staffing is hiring for entry level Light Production Workers on weekend night shift to work with a local manufacturing facility with a starting pay of $21.00 per hour (paid weekly) along with additional benefits that include: medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401k with company profit sharing match.Description:Our team is growing! We are in need of 1st and 3rd shift Light Production Workers! These positions will be assisting in the operation of automated industrial machines for production and packaging. This position will give you the opportunity to work on your own and with a team.Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the production area of our facility
Ensure machines are running effectively and efficiently
Notify maintenance team of any machine errors needed corrective action
Pack products in boxes, stack boxes, inspect packages and boxes for good seals and code dates
Weigh products on production line for wrapping
Ensure quality and safety procedures are followed at all times
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
On the job training will be provided, and will offer the opportunity for learning more about the manufacturing process and machine operation.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with small hand tools for adjusting machines
Prior experience in one of the following areas: manufacturing, production, machine operation, construction, assembly, forklift driving, or general production / general labor is preferred but not required.
Mechanically inclined individuals with prior experience highly preferred
