Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the accounting industry for an Accountant. The role is located in Fort Adkinson, Wisconsin, United States and involves managing and performing various day-to-day accounting functions. Responsibilities: Oversee and execute accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Handle credit card reconciliations accurately and promptly. Manage and maintain updated and accurate customer credit records. Process customer credit applications and inquiries efficiently. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for financial operations. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Perform regular auditing to ensure balance in financial records. Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for better business process management. Conduct regular reviews and updates of accounting functions. Utilize ADP - Financial Services and Concur for efficient financial management. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an accounting role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and QuickBooks is essential. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable. Knowledge of Cl Programming and Concur is a plus. Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is required. Strong understanding and experience with Accounting Functions is necessary. Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Familiarity with auditing procedures and Balance Sheet Account management is beneficial. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
