T his role will include development lead responsibilities for an employee new issue post approval team. In additional this lead role will have the accountability for all components across post approval, and partner as a mainframe expert practice lead across all new issue (with focus on legacy technologies).

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Implements holistic solutions utilizing working relationships across the enterprise.
• Designs, organizes, and executes high impact solutions across teams both within and outside their division.
• Establishes, aggregates, and shares enterprise standards and best practices.
• Must have strong Mainframe/DB2 skill set.
• This role requires to work with junior engineers hands on to learn the landscape and work across the enterprise on strategic efforts.
• Prior knowledge of ICAX, Client Communications, New Issue or Risk Servicing space will be nice to have.
• Ensures production stability, monitoring, and root cause analysis is executed for their products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years of professional experience required
• 5-8+ years of experience leading teams using modern engineering tools, languages, and practices.
• Experience developing and leading solution delivery using agile methods.
• Experience developing and supporting mainframe-based applications.
• Expert in one or more technologies: Mainframe, DB2, JCL, PL/I.
• Experience with professional change management concepts and tools (e.g., ChangeMan, ServiceNow).
• Proven track record of successfully designing and delivering significant and impactful technology solutions.
• Experience developing and leading solution delivery using agile methods.
• Expert for the organization in one or more technologies: [insert as applicable when posting].
• Successfully deals with ambiguity.
• Recognized as the go-to expert within the division or department.
• Ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences in varying forms and levels of detail.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and architecture.
