Badgerland Properties is seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance and Property Management Technician to join our team. This position requires a wide range of skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and landscaping. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repairs:
o Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and appliance repair.
o Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely manner.
o Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
o Conduct routine inspections of property to identify and address potential issues.
Property Management:
o Communicate effectively with tenants and co-workers.
o Address tenant concerns and resolve issues promptly.
o Enforce property rules and regulations.
o Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
General Property Upkeep:
o Perform painting, cleaning, and landscaping tasks.
o Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots.
o Maintain the overall appearance of the property.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
Experience in general maintenance and repair
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is appealing
