Description We are offering an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our client in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This role is integral to our operations and requires a focus on accounting software systems, financial services, and enterprise resource planning. It will involve managing a variety of accounting functions, auditing, and financial statement analysis.Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure they accurately represent the company's financial status. Manage the accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), to maintain accurate records of all transactions. Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to streamline and automate financial management processes. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards. Manage the balance sheet account to ensure all financial data is up to date. Oversee the budget processes to ensure all financial plans align with company goals. Handle grant accounting and management, ensuring all financial aspects of grants are correctly managed. Apply knowledge of non-profit accounting to manage and report company finances. Analyze financial statements to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Strong understanding and proficiency in accounting functions. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP). Previous experience in auditing is required. Proficient in Balance Sheet Account management. Experience in managing budget processes. Background in Grant Accounting and Grant Management. Familiarity with Non-profit Accounting. Ability to analyze financial statements. Experience in Financial Statement and Financial Statement Preparation. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance related to financial reporting. Proven leadership skills with ability to guide, mentor, and develop a team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
