Competitive Pay based on experience – starting rate $25.17 per hour.

2nd & 3rd Shift Premium of $1.00 per hour.

Wage increases every 6 months until top pay, and then annually.

Shift OverviewThis position is available for 2nd and 3rd shift.2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 3PM to 11PM with paid lunch, voluntary overtime before or after shift.3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday 11PM to 7AM with paid lunch, voluntary overtime before or after shift.Essential Functions

Brings into blueprint tolerance sophisticated components or end items in order to achieve flatness, alignment and parallelism specifications.

Uses squares, straight edges, levels, micrometers, transits, plumb bobs, rulers, etc. as inspection/checking tools. Must be able to utilize heating and cutting torches to "heat" shrink assemblies to specification.

Based on experience and knowledge will determine techniques to jack, shim and brace to straighten weldments. Will operate hydraulic straightening presses.

Will truck, handle or position materials.

Every employee is expected to:

Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting and documentation of quality control and material movement.

Work safely and maintain the work area with high standards of housekeeping.

Perform self-inspection and other required quality control functions at the employee's workstation.

Perform required Preventive Maintenance activities on machinery and/or equipment operated.

Train and/or assist in the development of personnel.

Do the work in lower levels when assigned and assist in the work in higher levels.

Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Required Qualifications

Previous metal fabrications / welding experience.

Works independently with minimal supervisory direction.

Lifting requirements:

Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Lifting devices are available and recommended.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent OR three (3) to five (5) years metal fabrication/welding experience.

Advanced blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
