Product Manager, Service PartsWork Mode: HybridLocation: Hybrid - Kohler, WIOpportunityThe Associate Product Manager, Service Parts is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and programs for the assigned product lines to provide customer satisfaction, satisfy market potential, and obtain the desired profit, market penetration and growth. This involves managing pre- and post-launch deliverables and cross-functional meetings to ensure a successful market launch in several key channels. You will also assist in developing and coordinating the implementation of annual short- and long-term marketing plans for the Service Parts & Cleaners business.The ideal candidate will exhibit the following

Specific Responsibilities
Deliver business objectives for category including sales growth, product placement in retail, and growing market share
Manage product assortment across strategic channels, analyzing the performance of products in terms of product revenue, margins, and profitability by increasing market share, controlling product costs and establishing product pricing
Lead the product, financial and strategic planning of service parts product line(s), including financial justifications of new products and programs
Drive the Service Parts & Cleaners launch process on strategic items that meet the needs of the customer at target costs and on schedule, as well as the sales and marketing tools necessary for the promotion and sale of the products
Create, communicate and manage product overviews with key features, benefits, and differentiators
collaborate with product managers on service parts strategy for new products and key product categories
Own and communicate new product launch and channel strategy calendar, communicating requirements for key assets and inventory timing with the team
Partner with channel and supply chain on load in quantities and monthly forecast of new product launches and channel initiatives
Conduct market research focusing on identifying key accelerators and inhibiters to market growth and end user demand for this product
Target and benchmark key competition. Leverage our competitive resources and advantages and exploit competitor weaknesses to gain market share
As the “expert” in the assigned product line make product presentations to key customers including national accounts, end users, contractors & specifying engineers
Skills/Requirements
Minimum four-year college degree in engineering, business or marketing. MBA is preferred.
5-7 years of experience in communications, marketing, sales, and/or engineering or a closely related field is required.
Travel up to 15% to customer and supplier visits
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
