Altra Federal Credit Union is a dynamic and forward-thinking financial institution dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members. We are currently seeking an Asset Recovery Assistant to join our team and place a crucial role in safeguarding our financial interests.
As an Asset Recovery Assistant, you will work with our Asset Recovery Specialist to assist them with their day-to-day administrative tasks. This can include, but is not limited to:
Answering emails
Sending requested documents and information to parties requesting information
Processing payments and checks
Running reports
Uploading invoices
Answering telephone calls, as needed
And any other administrative work that may be involved for the Asset Recovery team to run efficiently.
Qualified candidates will be required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED. Some post high school education is preferred, but not required. Basic experience with foreclosures, repossessions, and bankruptcies is preferred. Experience in the financial industry is preferred. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with members, coworkers, and management. Ability to work under pressure. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong decision making and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Good computer skills including some experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
This position is full time, 40-hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Asset Recovery Assistant position is located at the Operations Center in Onalaska, WI, however, work from home / remote work opportunities are available after 3-6 months of employment once successfully completing all position-specific training, demonstration of consistent and satisfactory work performance and have approved workspace and high-speed internet access.
